I am so happy to be home. Will and Alina are happy to be home too. Will keeps asking if he is staying here forever and when we tell him yes he smiles and looks so happy. I woke up one morning to him patting my cheek and telling me he loved me.
Alina seems very happy even though she is sharing a room with Sara not Lena.
One day we thought she was taking a forever shower, but really she couldn't figure out how to turn the water off. She came out in her towel asking for help.
She also screamed when ice came out of the ice maker into her cup and she dropped it on the floor. Guess she was expecting water. She apologized over and over. I just laughed and told her no big deal.
Now that we are home she is actually speaking English and she knows more than I expected. Yesterday she asked, "Mom, can I ride the long board outside please?" I was surprised and had to say yes even though it was 9:40 at night. I am sure Lena put her up to it.

They both always beg to go to the park.

Alina loves Lena's long board.

Will and Dona's daughter Elli can't understand each other but they both understand dog language. They love playing dog and make us walk and feed them.
So cute! Welcome home! I was sad I missed going to the airport. I was getting my girls in bed when Little One smashed her finger in the bathroom door. By the time she calmed down and was asleep you were landing in 5 minutes and there was no way I'd make it. :( Can we get together sometime after the jet lag wears off? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting stop by and talk to you yesterday. I am so glad that you are home! You have such a cute and fun little family!
ReplyDeleteWelcome Home!!! SO cute! :) I love the dogs, best friends! :) The kids just seem SO HAPPY!!! Hopefully Will doesn't wake you up every morning to tell you he loves you... but it is adorable and I bet you cherished it! :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww...so cute! Those things made me laugh. They are so adorable and I loved having the chance to meet them last week. I wasn't sure if Will zipping me up in the tent and telling me to stay there was a compliment or a way to try and get rid of me. Either way, it made me laugh. He is darling and she is beautiful. They do seem very happy. I already love those kids! I'm glad you posted. Love ya! Shelby
ReplyDeleteIt has been so fun following your blog, I hope you keep it up now that you are home!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home!! I have loved following your blog. I would love to get together with you and your children some time. I think my daughter would enjoy being around your girls and your new son. Best wishes in your adjusting with your new children. What a great help your first two daughters will be in helping things go smoothly. I am amazed at how quickly these children learn English.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great adventure! What a wonderful growing experience.
Oh I want to come visit and play dog!! What cute kids. What a fabulous family you have built. Hope everyone is settling in. Can't wait to hear the real diagnosis of Will. He doesn't look sick to me.
ReplyDeleteCall me when you have a minute. I don't know when a good time is for you and don't want to disturb school or anything....
